Linda Jiménez, Principal, is a specialist in focusing companies in start-up and existing operations via process mapping and program management. She is a detail-oriented taskmaster with good collaborative skills. Linda's industry experience has been focused in public health science, urban public healthcare, fitness, and non-profit businesses, but also includes automotive, logistics and supply chain. She is also a lecturer at Wayne State University, teaching kinesiology, grant writing and entrepreneurship.
Linda has founded three companies, so she understands and knows how to drive schedules to completion. She founded Detroit After-School All-Stars as the Detroit Chapter of Arnold Schwarzenegger's Youth Foundation. She also founded Get Active Detroit, a 501(c)(3) organization as the affiliate for the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports and VIDA Enterprise, a public health science consulting company. Linda has also worked with StayWell Health Management Systems and Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, a Master of Education in Exercise Physiology, and a PhD in Learning Design & Technology, all from Wayne State University, and is a Senior Lecturer at Wayne State. She has served as a Commissioner on Wayne State President's Commission on the Status of Women, a member of Wayne State's Gender and Equity sub-committee, and a federal grant reviewer for the US Department of Education. She was appointed by the Governor of Michigan as a board member of the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports and served as a Trustee of Henry Ford Health System Community Care board. Linda is also fluent in Spanish.
